A benefit for SANCTUM HOUSE

A sanctuary for women survivors of human trafficking.

Sanctum House is a safe home for survivors of human trafficking to heal and rebuild.

It is a voluntary, residential 24-month program for women 18 years of age and older.

By providing trauma-informed healthcare, and individualized resources within a safe and secure environment, Sanctum House becomes the foundation to build a better future.

They provide comprehensive services of trauma-informed care including: Healthcare, Professional Services, Education, and Reintegration.

    Meet Jennifer Baenziger, Chief Marketing Officer of Sanctum House in Novi, Michigan, this year’s honored recipient at the 2024 Women In Milford Gala. Jennifer's journey with Sanctum House began in 2016, where her background in senior roles at Volkswagen of America and her passion for helping women have been pivotal in fundraising efforts for the organization. Her leadership in the first in-person fundraiser in 2017 helped provide resources for the opening of Sanctum House, a sanctuary offering long-term care, therapy, and life skills training for women survivors of human trafficking.

    Meet Irene Faziani, the Guest Speaker at the 2024 Women In Milford Gala!

    Irene is a graduate of Sanctum House. She has 5 years in recovery and for the past 2 years has mentored women coming through the Sanctum House program. She is an active advocate for victims of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence. She is now living a successful, independent and sober life. She is also a successful business woman making her voice known and is now a full-time employee at Sanctum House.

    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

    Meet Karen Moore, Executive Director of Sanctum House in Novi, Michigan, this year’s honored recipient at the 2024 Women In Milford Gala. A former global executive at Ford and CEO of Ladywood High School, Karen now leads Sanctum House, Michigan's first 24-month integrated care safe house for adult women victims of human trafficking. Sanctum House offers 24/7 support, including healthcare, life skills training, and employment opportunities, while Karen also serves on the Michigan Human Trafficking Task Force and various advisory committees.
