Caroline Landry

Meet Caroline Landry, owner of Work & Wonder in downtown Milford—a brand new space created with parents in mind. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, mom of three, and Program Manager at the University of Michigan School of Social Work, Caroline knows firsthand how hard it is to balance work and parenting. That’s why she created Work & Wonder: Where Productivity is Child’s Play, a hybrid workspace offering child-watch services under the same roof. “I wanted to be close to my children and be able to feed them when needed or give them snuggles throughout the day,” she said. “Once I had the idea to merge together a workspace and child-watch, I never looked back.”

Located at 222 S. Main Street (right next to The Bar), Work & Wonder is opening mid-August, just after Milford Memories. Booking for workspace and child-watch services will go live in mid-July, all through their website. If you want a sneak peek before the doors officially open, you can DM them for a tour. “I have truly enjoyed the community aspect of creating a new space for parents,” Caroline said. “It’s been amazing to connect with other families and local businesses to brainstorm ways we can support each other.”

Launching a business while raising little ones is no small feat—but Caroline credits her personal village (including Milford-based in-laws who are also small business owners) for their mentorship and support. “They aren't joking when they say owning a small business is like a rollercoaster ride—bless my sweet husband,” she added with a smile. We’re so excited to welcome Work & Wonder to Main Street and can’t wait to see how this unique space uplifts local families.
