Dreamy Daze Boutique

If you haven’t stepped inside Dreamy Daze Boutique in downtown Milford yet, consider this your sign. Owner Michele Quigg started Dreamy Daze back in 2015 as an online-only boutique, fueled by her love of clothing and the retail world. What began as a small dream grew through local markets and pop-ups, and in 2022 it officially became her full-time job when she found the perfect storefront right here in Downtown Milford. “What began as a small dream quickly grew,” Michele shares, and now that dream has become a vibrant shopping destination in the heart of our community.

Dreamy Daze is actually two boutiques in one. Michele’s side features stylish clothing and permanent jewelry, while The Chic Lounge, owned by Taylor Johnson, brings all the cozy vibes. “We’re a fun shopping destination that’s actually two boutiques in one,” Michele says—and that experience is what truly sets them apart. From trendy pieces for teens to effortless day-to-night styles and lounge sets for every season of life, they serve women of all ages. Michele is especially excited about their permanent jewelry, calling it “such an amazing addition to the store.” She loves being part of special moments—birthdays, friendships, milestones—and staying ahead of trends by sourcing new chain styles and fresh designs. They’ve also launched a loyalty card program (40% off your fifth purchase) and are now hosting after-hours private shopping events for a more personalized experience.

One of Michele’s biggest recent wins? Simply being here. “Honestly, one of my biggest recent wins is being able to have this storefront and be a part of this awesome business community in Downtown Milford,” she says. What many people don’t know is that she learned the foundations of business by working in her father’s heating and cooling company, gaining firsthand experience in customer service and operations that still guide her today. Next up: a makeover of their unique outdoor courtyard space to expand in-store events and create even more community-centered experiences. The best way to support Dreamy Daze right now is simple—keep showing up for local businesses. Follow, like, share, recommend, and stop in. As Michele says, “Word of mouth is everything for small businesses.”
