August Volunteer Day
As summer winds down, we’re coming together once again for another Volunteer Day at HAVEN. These volunteer days have become such an important part of what we do at Women In Milford — not just because of the work itself, but because of what happens when women show up for their community with compassion, energy, and purpose. Haven continues to provide critical support for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, and we’re honored to spend another day lending a hand however we can.

Every volunteer day looks a little different, and that’s part of what makes this work so meaningful. We may be organizing donations, cleaning spaces, sorting supplies, helping behind the scenes, or taking on projects that help Haven run more smoothly day to day. No matter the task, it all contributes to creating a safe and supportive environment for women and families in our community.
Community doesn’t happen by accident — it’s built when people choose to care for one another. Giving your time, even for a few hours, can make a real and lasting impact. We hope you’ll join us this August as we continue showing up, working hard, and supporting an organization doing incredibly important work right here in Oakland County.
