A benefit for
HAVEN

This year, Women In Milford dedicated our volunteer efforts to HAVEN of Oakland because showing up for women in crisis is work worth doing—and it’s core to who we are. Our mission is to educate and empower women entrepreneurs, but that starts with making sure women in our region are safe, supported, and seen. Volunteering together has strengthened our own community while directly serving survivors in Oakland County.

HAVEN is Oakland County’s comprehensive resource for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, providing a 24/7 emergency shelter, counseling, advocacy, and prevention services—often the only such full-service provider in the county. Choosing HAVEN means our time and resources go where the need is urgent and the impact is real: restoring safety, dignity, and stability for women and their families.

That’s why we’ve selected HAVEN as the recipient of the silent auction proceeds at the 2025 Women In Milford Gala. It’s a tangible way to extend our hands-on service with meaningful financial support, ensuring vital programs continue for those who need them most. When women support women—on the job, in business, and at moments of crisis—our entire community grows stronger.
