December Encore! Meetup: Volunteer at Haven
We’re excited to invite you to our final Women In Milford Encore! Meetup of the year. On this day of service, we’ll be joining forces at HAVEN of Oakland County—a nonprofit dedicated to supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. The time we spend there makes a real, lasting difference for the women and families they serve.

At this Meetup, our focus is on service that matters. From tidying and organizing the Art Therapy rooms to sprucing up the kitchen, each project—big or small—helps create a welcoming space for healing and hope. Volunteer work isn’t always glamorous, but it’s always meaningful. It’s the kind of work that changes lives, strengthens communities, and reminds us why showing up for others is so important.
Giving back is central to Women In Milford’s mission. When we serve side by side, we not only support those in need, but we also deepen the sense of connection and resilience within our own community of women.
