Sherise Assad

Six years ago, Sherise Assad set out to challenge a belief that many people quietly carried: that investing in yourself was something to feel guilty about rather than celebrate. At the time, aesthetics in a small town looked very different than it does today. People often worried about who might see them walking into a medspa, and self-care was something many kept private. Temple Collective MedSpa was built to change that conversation. "There was still a stigma surrounding self-care, and many people felt like investing in themselves was something to hide rather than celebrate," Sherise shares. Today, Temple Collective has become an award-winning medspa and a place where people proudly prioritize themselves, openly sharing their experiences and encouraging others to do the same.

Temple Collective combines medical aesthetics, wellness services, skincare, laser treatments, hormone optimization, weight loss programs, permanent makeup, and self-care experiences all under one roof. But according to Sherise, the mission goes much deeper than treatments alone. "We help people look good, feel good, and age confidently," she says. Right now, the team is especially excited about their wellness and hormone optimization programs, helping women and men find answers to issues that are often dismissed as simply part of aging. Through their growing Temple Social Club events, they're also creating opportunities for education, networking, connection, and community. Whether someone is seeking a subtle refresh, wellness support, or simply a little time for themselves, the focus is always on listening, educating, and creating a plan that aligns with their individual goals.

What truly makes Temple Collective different is the culture they've built. "One of the things I'm most proud of is helping normalize self-care in our community and teaching people that self-care isn't vanity—it's self-respect," Sherise explains. The space was intentionally designed to feel less like a clinic and more like a welcoming home, where clients gather around the kitchen counter, share stories, and build genuine connections. Temple Collective has also become a training destination for providers from around the country, reflecting its commitment to education, safety, and raising the standard of care. Looking ahead, Sherise and her team are focused on expanding wellness offerings while continuing to foster a community centered on confidence, health, and connection. As she puts it, "Every recommendation, referral, review, and social media post helps local businesses thrive." Temple Collective may have started with a vision, but its success is a testament to the community that embraced it.
