Meet Kristie Fisher, owner of Method Barre in downtown Milford.  Kristie began studying dance at the early age of 5 and received her performance training from Western Michigan University.  A talented and accomplished singer and dancer, Kristie’s lifelong love of dance and fitness had her touring the globe performing, before opening Method Barre.

Meet Lauren Giles, stylist at Salon 3 in downtown Milford.  Lauren graduated from the Douglas J Aveda institute in Ann Arbor. She started her career in Milford at a cute boutique bridal salon at the edge of town, where she began to truly fall in love with styling and coloring hair for others. “I learned so much from cutting and coloring to bridal  hair and makeup. It set me up for a great career ahead,” Lauren says.

Meet Christina Armstrong, owner of Armstrong Virtual Assisting. Christina is an expert virtual assistant who supports entrepreneurs as they grow their businesses.

Meet Cassidy Schoof.  A graduate of Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, Cassidy received her degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education and taught in the classroom for 2 years, before starting her Tutoring Business, Cassidy Blayne, LLC.

Meet Belle Sophabmisay, a Salon 3 employee who started as a receptionist and is now a stylist! This woman is knowledgeable in all aspects of the cosmetology field. Her passion for the industry started when I was young, watching YouTube videos on how to apply makeup and so she decided to go to cosmetology school.

Meet Dayna Smedley. Dayna married her high school sweetheart and they have two very active boys! She and her husband enjoy raising their boys here in Milford. When she’s not stepping on Legos or enjoying movie night with her hubby, you can catch her working in my business #dealswithdayna.

Meet Abby Zolinski, founder and owner of Cookie For Your Thoughts, a macaron bakery. They specialize in unique, fun flavors of French Macarons.

Meet Becky Busen, a Realtor at RE/MAX Eclipse. Becky is extremely passionate about what she does. Initially, she went to school and got her associates degree in graphic design. After a few months working as a junior graphic designer, she realized it was not the right path for her. Becky missed doing what she truly loved, which is helping people.

Meet Jill Dworin, the proud owner of Salon 3 in downtown Milford! Jill has been in the salon industry for 20 years. She started her journey as an esthetician doing facials and waxing. After a couple years Jill had the desire to do hair, so she started an apprenticeship at her salon. That apprenticeship quickly turned into becoming the salon manager, while also building her clientele.

Meet Deidre Boudreau. After feeling fortunate to be a stay at home mom for years, Deidre is now an expert Real Estate Agent.  Her passion for Real Estate stems from bringing people and ideas together, and she is a pro!

Meet Kristel Coronado, owner and operator of  Kristel's Cookie Creations in White Lake, Michigan.  Because of her life-long love of baking, she turned it into more than just a hobby, and started Kristel’s Cookie Creations in 2018, after a her creative flame sparked when decorating a cookie set for her sister-in-law.  The business has evolved from there, as well as her mesmerizing Instagram account, @kristelscookiecreations.  Kristel is passionate about her work, as well as making each and every one of her customers smile with her edible treats, no matter the size of the order she receives.

Meet Daedra Surowiec, founder of Stawsome.  Along with her husband Brian, Daedra has been designing and hand crafting reusable glass drinking straws since 2009, bringing function and environmental awareness to the public.  What began as a small side hobby has now evolved into a global online business with a fully operational warehouse in Highland. Daedra is so excited to have finally settled into her dream job!

Meet Marie Kelly, founder of Women In Milford. Marie is a full time Marketing Chef and runs Milford Kitchen: a free recipe website. Marie grew up in Southeast Michigan, and began her professional life as an IT Manager for design and development boutiques both outside Detroit, and eventually Chicago, where she lived for 10 years, before settling down in Milford with her husband Nick and their dog Murphy.
