Jenna Walker

Meet Jenna Walker, the creative force behind Reed Walker Design Collective, a metro-Detroit-based design studio she launched in 2024 after more than two decades in the architecture & design field. A qualified architectural historian and passionate interior designer, Jenna’s work blends preservation and creativity, with a focus on revitalizing existing and historic buildings. “Place plays a vital role in shaping human experiences and identities,” Jenna explains, and her mission is to ensure that spaces not only look beautiful but also honor history and foster connection. Beyond her studio, Jenna is a wife, mom, and outdoor enthusiast who dreams of one day creating a children’s book series based on her family’s travels through U.S. National Parks.

When asked what inspired her to start Reed Walker Design Collective, Jenna shared, “I’ve been considering launching my own studio since my son was born, but the timing never felt right. Eventually, that whisper became a shout and I could no longer deny it.” After working with organizations like Ilitch Holdings/Olympia Development and contributing to projects across the region, she finally stepped fully into entrepreneurship in October 2024. For Jenna, this new chapter isn’t just about running a business; it’s about crafting meaningful client experiences that blend preservation, functionality, and beauty.

For those interested in working with Jenna, the best way is through her website, either by filling out the project inquiry form or booking a 90-minute paid consultation. “I love the ability to take all the best parts of my 20+ years of experience to craft an incredible client journey,” Jenna says.
